Beautiful Baby E

I'm not sure how it happens, but I really seem to be surrounded by the most beautiful children in the world. Last week I got to capture this sweet little face. Look at those beautiful blue eyes and perfectly round cheeks! She's a photographer's dream!

I love black and white photos of babies. Usually I pick a few pictures to convert to black and white, but it was difficult to take away the color from any of this girl's pictures. Those blue eyes are so stunning!  I just couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I had to show both.







So so sweet and pretty!



Because sometimes it's just hard to be a baby supermodel...



She could not have been any more perfect!

Oh How Time Does Fly...

Then we pulled out the cupcake and REALLY had some fun! This was her first taste of cake, and I have a feeling she liked it...

Spring Photo Season is right around the corner! I will only be taking a limited number of sessions this spring, so reserve your appointment soon. For the first time ever, I'll be offering mini-sessions on April 21st. These will be first-come, first-serve, so let me know as soon as possible if you're interested. If the slots fill up quickly, I may offer an additional date for more mini-sessions. Good to be back!

Winter is a slow time for photography. Plus I'm pregnant, plus we've had some major family drama going on, plus the weather has been dark and dreary. All that together meant a big break in taking pictures. But last weekend we finally had some sunshine to provide pretty, natural light, so I had the chance to photograph this little beauty. Her mom used to be my favorite babysitter. Then she had a baby and for some reason decided she was finished babysitting. I can't imagine why :) But the result of me losing my favorite babysitter was this beautiful little girl, who is now 18 months old. We had such fun together. Little girls are so great!













I have missed editing images, and I have had so much fun staring at this sweet little face this week. It's good to be back!

I'm playing with some new set-ups in my "studio," and today was the new wood floor. In a couple days there will be new wall paper and I'm super excited. Can't wait to get some babies in here to play with my new stuff!

I Heart Faces: Best Face Photo from 2011

This week's photo challenge at I Heart Faces is "Best Face Photo from 2011." I took a lot of photos of some great faces in 2011, but this picture has to be my favorite. Not only does she happen to be related to me (she's my niece), but those eyes are just mesmerizing. I love the setting sun in the background, I love her little tongue sticking out, I just love this little face!

Happy New Year!

I know it looks like I haven't been so busy lately, since there are no recent posts to Facebook or the website. However, in reality, I've been TOO busy editing pictures to have time to update the website or Facebook!
